Super User ChrisD46 Posted March 6, 2021 Super User Posted March 6, 2021 For those that use Yo-Zuri Hybrid #12 lb. for spinnerbaits , bladed jigs , swim jigs , etc. what is your favorite knot to tie using this line ? Quote
a1712 Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 San Diego Jam, doubled through eye. It will straighten a 5/0 Gammie. Brian. 1 Quote
Super User FryDog62 Posted March 6, 2021 Super User Posted March 6, 2021 Double Shindo for all non-braid lines... Quote
papajoe222 Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 I use a Palomar, but it seems a lot of guys have trouble tying it correctly. A Pitzen or SanDiego Jam is just as strong, IMO 1 Quote
Super User Hammer 4 Posted March 6, 2021 Super User Posted March 6, 2021 When I use to use YoZuri hybrid in 12 # test, always tied with a san Diego jam knot, never had any issues. 1 Quote
Super User BrianMDTX Posted March 6, 2021 Super User Posted March 6, 2021 I tie an Improved Clinch 90% of the time. No issues. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted March 6, 2021 Super User Posted March 6, 2021 Palomar for single hooks, Pitzen for trebles. 1 Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted March 6, 2021 Super User Posted March 6, 2021 San Diego Jam for all YZH, other than leader connections. Quote

I appreciate the replies ! I have no slippage issues with a properly tied IC. You can if the loop twists while tightening. Keep the loop untwisted and wet the knot before tightening and it’s a good knot. Quote
garroyo130 Posted March 6, 2021 Posted March 6, 2021 Take your pick with YZH. You can probably double overhand knot and be good. The line is super forgiving and break strength is well above stated. Quote
