I've cast a 1/10 jig & TRD(not super light) on my tuned Curado 70 and it works ok. But I prefer my Stradic 1000, it just feels right and alot times I'm fishing 15 to 25' and the Stradic allows for a vertical sink.

You are missing the point.

You cannot count bites you never got. And you certainly can't compare the bites that you might have gotten or not have gotten while doing it way did not do. And you can't say why you didn't get them. There is nothing objective here.

It's not about your fishing skill. It's about your reasoning skill.

You can say that about any technique.  That’s the reason I used the Bass Pro tank as an example.  Happens right before your eyes for those who like to argue.   You can see the effects with both setups and you can see the bass hit.  This has been a debated topic forever.  I’ve had to show lots of hardcore anglers that say they could never use a spinning rod the error in their thinking.?

Ok, you cannot understand what I'm saying, and it isn't worth further effort on my part...

Its never been disputed that the majority of bites on a weightless Senko come on the fall.

Not even close for me. Its much less likely that I get a strike on the initial fall. Predominance of my catches are on the retrieve.

Doesnt matter the reel/set-up used.

I have a Lews Custom Lite on a medium bass pro Patriot rod that casts 1/10 nedheads with a Trd on them really well. Zero backlash with the reel set right.

It looks like the Pro SP skipping reel is also true BFS capable, so not a 1 trick pony.
