Anyone have issues running PowerPro through titanium guides?

Don't think I will have any issues with my Cabela's XML Ti spinning rod...Thoughts?

Not so far. I have Pac Bay Minima titaniums on a 7'5" Heavy and the PowerPro hasn't affected it.

Are you asking about Recoil guides? If so, no problems except the noise. Braid “sings” when passing through Recoil guides. Do not use a Recoil tip guide.

The guides look like this...

I use to have a rod (G.Loomis GLX 803C) that had Recoil guides throughout except the top guide.  I never had an issue with braid but have seen guys that try to use this rod like it's a winch and do some damage to the guides.  Also, like said above the top guide from Recoil is not the best.

I couldn't find a good pic but this was an old issue discussed a few times over.....  The pic below shows what a few people were getting with braid and recoil guides.

Walked down to the shop...my XML Ti does not have the Recoil guide tip.

Tip has a ceramic insert.  Good to go!  Thanks for all the words of wisdom.

Same here.  Mine are on TFO tactical elites, both spinning and casting, no issues.

Mine's a Tactical Elite as well. Love that rod.

I have the same stick you do and have added several more.  I use the 7’5” H mostly for jigs.  Man, I gotta get better fishing a jig!

There is no problem with running any braid through any modern guide.  Other than possibly noise.

Yeah, that was my jig rod last year. Worked out wonderfully. It's going to be my pitching rod this year.
