Actually, it's not very funny at all. My tach is not doing a thing, and my trim guage is way off, and jumping around every time I use the trim at all. It'll tell me I'm trimmed up, when I'm actually half way down, or whatever random reading it feels like. Never had a problem like this, and taking it in to be looked at is not an option right now, so any help or suggestions would be appreciated. By the way, the boat is a '95 Nitro, with the 115 Merc. Thanks

I don't have a lot of experience with boats but I would look for a ground problem.  Anything like that in a car or truck would point to grounding issues.  Hope that helps.

I think Mikesjets is right I was having a similar problem and I traced it back to the ground.

Sounds like a poor connection somewhere in the line.

Ok, I will check my ground connections tomorrow, and do the terminals like you guys said. It's just weird because it was just acting up all of a sudden. But very good suggestions, and very much appreciated. Thank you.
