Fishing lake eufala with friends mid 2nd week of April. What lures and their colors y'all use? I'm thinking traps, carolina, flipping jigs, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits. I have no idea what colors to use

I dunno about mid April, but I'll be fishing in Alabama next week, and I have it on a local fisherman of some repute's word that I ought to do well with a buzzbait and a lizard, I am betting a search of commonly used spawn/post spawn techniques would get you in the ballpark though.

Four soft plastic colors that work well for me on all Tennessee River reservoirs

are Green Pumpkin, Watermelon/ Red Flake, Black/Blue Fleck and Okeechobee.

I fished Logan Martin last weekend, the bass are still in staging, meaning to me in 7 to 9 feet of water. I caught all mine on a Red crawfish color Spro's 50 squarebill in about 7 foot of water, slow cranking.

I look for the bass to began their spawning time in 2 to 3 weeks if it stays warm.
