I plan on buying these hooks to use for swimbait fishing in my ponds/lakes during the spring and for slow rolling my keitechs while it's still cold out. My only question is which model should I get? Willow or Colorado? I fish water that is about a foot of visibility. Would the blade even matter?

I'd get at least one or two of EACH.  and let the water clarity and the fish tell you which one they like.  If I had to get just 1, I'd get the willow blade.   The willow is pretty good for quick retrieve and all type of water clarity.   I do use some Indiana and Colorado blades for night fishing and fishing when the water is cold, and or muddy.  The give a ton of vibration off and you can generally fish them fairly slow.   But most of my spinner baits and under spins are all willows and double willow.

A bit more flash with the hammered willow.

What's so special about the hammered blades? I never understood that whole concept.

They are exceptional in clear water on sunny days because they give off ALOT of flash.  The light refraction is crazy.   They are just a good on muddy and dark days because it only takes a little little to make those puppies light up.   Good at night too.  I have about a third of my spinner bait box in hammered blades.

I think it’s akin to facets on a jewel. The hammered surface flashes light in every direction.

Agreed with this. I have not fished the Colorado blade version yet (although I have some), but the 3/0 with the willow and a 4.3 Keitech is the goods. Looking forward to trying the 1/0 with some smaller swimbaits.

I’d get a few of both in several different sizes and let the fish tell me which they like better on a certain day!

I use the 3/0 Flashy Swimmer with the willow blade for my 3.5" HD Swimmers and I am looking at probably grabbing some of the next size up for the 4" size. They definitely work in shallow grass.

* This ^^ ... Remember you also have the "thump" of the paddle tail swimbait to help bass find your offering .

I've heard some folks say that a Colorado blade thump more closely resembles a bluegill, and a willow is more like a shad vibration, it sounds reasonable to me but of course I couldn't prove it, I generally find that anecdotal evidence from waters that aren't very similar to the ones you propose to fish are 50/50 at best, and while I enjoy reading/watching reviews on all sorts of stuff related to bass fishing, after a while of fishing an area consistently you begin to have a lot of first hand experiences to compare to what your being told, I really feel that this is where a catch log/fishing journal has some value, now if your trying to assemble a "will work anywhere" arsenal you'll want some of each, but you'll notice a pattern if you consciously pay attention or track with other things like spinnerbaits that one style of blade or the other gets you more bites, alternatively you might find out that it makes little or no difference at all.

As a side note, because I am lazy and I don't remember the thread or feel like searching it up @A-Jay has a theory about blade shapes that mostly related to the speed at which they can be effectively and properly fished, I believe the gist of it was something like willows give less resistance so you can burn them back faster without it turning sideways on you, but that is of course subject to his (or anyone who wants to look it up) correction.

3/0 with the colorado blade paired with a sungill keitech fat impact might be one of my highest producing baits of all time. Perfect for the bluegill-littered ponds I tend to fish
