Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 1, 2021 Global Moderator Posted March 1, 2021 Yo-Zuri 3DB for a single prop. No other bait sounds like it and the fish just eat it up. Berkley Spin Rocket for a double prop. The blades spin a little easier than a Devil's Horse IMO. Quote
Super User Catt Posted March 1, 2021 Super User Posted March 1, 2021 There have been quite a few fish that left an indelible image in my mind. The first time I watched a 6#+ eat a topwater lure was one my dad caught on a Skipjack. I watched her wake & then the explosion as she went airborne. That was 60 years ago but I replay in my mind as clear as day. 3 Quote
Super User king fisher Posted March 1, 2021 Super User Posted March 1, 2021 I have fished many prop baits and my favorite for many years has been the Torpedo. I just ordered a H2O prop bait from Academy sports I plan on trying next week. Any one ever try the H20 bait? Quote
huZZah Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I’ve had success for years on Torpedos (cause my Grandad used them). I have a whopper plopper now and it’s awesome, but doesn’t have nearly the nostalgia. Although it does churn some water man. Quote
