Yo-Zuri 3DB for a single prop. No other bait sounds like it and the fish just eat it up.

Berkley Spin Rocket for a double prop. The blades spin a little easier than a Devil's Horse IMO.

There have been quite a few fish that left an indelible image in my mind. The first time I watched a 6#+ eat a topwater lure was one my dad caught on a Skipjack. I watched her wake & then the explosion as she went airborne.

That was 60 years ago but I replay in my mind as clear as day.

I have fished many prop baits and my favorite for many years has been the Torpedo.  I just ordered a H2O prop bait from Academy sports I plan on trying next week.  Any one ever try the H20 bait?

I’ve had success for years on Torpedos (cause my Grandad used them). I have a whopper plopper now and it’s awesome, but doesn’t have nearly the nostalgia. Although it does churn some water man.

I have caught an awful lot of bass on torpedos.
