Got one of these and was wondering what's the best way to stop the squeak? I read petroleum jelly works well...one thing said olive oil but that sounds strange and messy to me. Could use WD40 but don't want my bedroom smelling like a maintenance shop!

Has no smell, stays in place, & lasts.

silicone spray!!

also wd40 is really not a lubricant

vegetable oil will oxidize and become sticky and crumbly

we tried the spray lithium grease on the hinges at work and it was okay but i prefer the silicone spray

Remoil works well if you have guns.

Why didn't I think of that?
