Siebert swim jig in Bluegill or Bluegill Flash with a Keitech Impact Fat Sungill, usually a 3.8.

I thought that the bluegill color was for more clear water. Does it work well in murky water?

Similar but bigger. Siebert brush (Thanks for the custom color!) with a skinny dipper rigged "Chesapeake Bay" style.

Z man makes a couple chatterbaits in bluegill pattern. Coupled with a rage tail menace in a dark pattern works very well to imitate a bluegill. I don’t have a photo at this time but I used this combo last season and it was very effective where bluegills were a primary forage.

Do live bluegill change color in murkier water nope. Use bluegill color jigs to mimick a bluegill.

I was playing around with some 1/2 oz GP punch weights I think I got from OMG. Used a Boss skirt in the Bream pattern, a GP Rage Menace rigged vertical on a TK130 4/0 hook. It was money pre and during the spawn because with the punch weight, it would dive down and the Menace tail is going crazy,

I'm just a dumb Cajun but I highly doubt a bass looks a two jigs & says that one a crawfish & that ones a bluegill.

Yup, skin hooked "stinger" hook, like this, (those are 12" shad on big doll hair jigs for striped bass trolling). I do it cause snakeheads (and pickerel) just grab the rear half most of the time.

It gave the chatter bait a run for its money as best lure last spring.

That will do it. Dip the tail and you won't be leaving any fish for anyone else.

3/8 oz 6th sense divine swim jig in Bluegill Magic with a blue craw rage menace grub.  Screw lock on the swim jig is awesome in keeping the trailer on.  Caught many a bass on that combo.

For dirty water, a plain green pumpkin jig and the green pumpkin trailer of your choice. The color isn't going to matter as much as putting it in front of them in that situation.
