Fred Allen Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 I found this over the summer fishing the hudson from shore. I snagged a long line and this was at the end of it. Threw it in my glovebox and found it again today. Its some weights on a long U shaped stiff wire with either glass or plastic beads. The large weight is about 3/4 inch long and looks to be brass. I guess the hooks rusted off it. was pretty dirty but I cleaned it up with brillo. I didnt see anything like it at walmart. What is this called? Quote

Michigander Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 Yep, premade carolina rig. You can find different versions of them pretty commonly but most look like that. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Top_Brass_Carolina_Ready_Rigs_1_pk/descpage-TBCRR.html?from=gshop&gclid=CjwKCAiAjp6BBhAIEiwAkO9WuvAu2Hj3SIUCpqkDKOVnYqBRiJ1MJxIWjppH03FPG0RifBs3Ut6OfRoC81AQAvD_BwE 1 Quote
