What are you guys' top 5 confidence baits that you know you can almost always catch a fish on. You need to be able to do it in the wind and in the sun and during any time of the year.

My 5:

Small colorado spinnerbaits (3/8 oz and less)(yellow and black or chartreuse and blue)

Bomber square A (apple red crawdad or baby bass for very pressured, clear water areas)

Yamamoto senko (fading watermelon or gp purple copper flake)

Berkley power grub (black for pressured areas and firetiger for when fish are active and not finicky)

Strike king bitsy bug jig (1/4 oz)(watermelon or cajun craw)

I like this topic. Mine would be:

1. Chatterbait (Black and Blue has been the best for me)

2. Creature bait T-rigged (Okeechobee Craw is my fav)

3. Paddle Tail with underspin (White Pearl, or Shad color)

4. Stick worm (whacky or T-rigged) I like Watermelon red, Black and Blue, and a Blue / Green pearl

5. Lipless crank- (I have caught a ton on white, red, and sexy shad)

5” Senko WR or weightless TR

Zoom Trick Worm weightless TR

Mann’s Jelly Worm TR

That's my true confidence bait list. I catch bass on many other baits (Whopper Plopper, some jigs w/craw trailers, etc.). But if I NEED to catch A bass, that’s what I’m tying on.

1)  Small 4" swimbait on a ball head jig

2)  Ned Rig
*All year long no matter whether I am largemouth or smallmouth fishing those two will be tied on.

3)  Dropshot- once we get into summer, probably 75% of my smallmouth fishing is a dropshot.

4)  Tube- most of my big prespawn smallies come on tubes.

5)  Bait X  (not sharing this one)

Let me think a moment.

Swim Jig

Spinnerbait

Lipless

Suspending Jerkbait

Drop-Shot

Of course each depends on conditions, but I'll cycle through those if needed until I find what the bass want. If none of those work...I start getting 'creative'.

1. 3/8 Siebert tungsten pitching jig with UV Speed Craw trailer

2. Dropshot - usually a Missile Bombshot

3. Frog in summer

4. Squarebill - 6th Sense Crush 50x for rattling or LC 1.5 for silent

5. Stickbait - wacky rig or weightless t-rig

Im going to work hard to get jerkbaits in this list in the spring.

In no particular order, and dependent on where and when:

Swim jig

Spinnerbait

popper

Trick worm

T-rig UV Speed Craw

I could always tie on a Senko or one of it's clones and catch bass nearly every time out, but I just dislike fishing them.
