Is there a time you will use the rage tail craw over the zoom ultra vibe speed craw if so what causes that decision for you? 1 Quote

They both have similar action in my eyes and even a rage craw I don't throw on until the water warms up a bit... do you see it differently? Quote
Super User J Francho Posted February 9, 2021 Super User Posted February 9, 2021 I don't think I own any 3/8 oz jigs, but a Rage Chunk is my favorite on jigs 1/2 oz and up. Zoom Super Chunks should get an honorable mention. Quote
PotatoLake Posted February 9, 2021 Posted February 9, 2021 I haven’t seen these mentioned but my pb was caught on a 3/8 oz jig with a Z-man Batwingz as a trailer. Quote

Super User Team9nine Posted February 9, 2021 Super User Posted February 9, 2021 I try not to go overboard with trailers. Various Zoom Salty Chunks, Super Chunks and Paca Craws cover darn near everything in that size range for me. Quote

Ultra vibe is a bit smaller and I see less action than a Rage Craw. When you fish the Ultra vibe slowly for cold water it doesn't give off as much movement as Rage. 1 Quote

papajoe222 Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Rage Craw or Zoom Super/Jr Chunk depending on how much action I want from the trailer. Quote
Luke Barnes Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Granted ive only caught one bass on a jig, not counting swim jig, I caught it with a rage craw for a trailer. Ive got jigs, I set them up with trailers, rage craw in the warm, rage menace in the cold, but i dont fish them. Dont really know why besides no confidence. However I do have a SK Finesse jig tied on right now with a BBB craw claw type chunk on it and used it the other day with no luck. Quote
Super User Spankey Posted February 10, 2021 Super User Posted February 10, 2021 I fish jigs and buzzbaits a bit on the lighter side than most of you guys. And this may sound crazy to y’all but my favorite and productive trailer is a Zoom 4” Curly Tail Worm. A ribbon tail worm. I nibble down in the body of the worm until I get just the right fit. Not a lot of bulk. Ribbon tail adds attraction. Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted February 11, 2021 Super User Posted February 11, 2021 I use a Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Craw or a Zoom Twin tail Grub most of the time. Quote
