So I’ve picked up a case of Raynaud’s over the past year, so I’m looking to buy a pair of super warm gloves (I’m thinking a battery heated pair). Any suggestions? Normal winter gloves just don’t keep my hands from losing blood flow anymore. Anyone use any heated gloves that they like, or dislike?

Sorry to hear of your Reynaud's disease. The best thing I can think of is to find a pair of mittens with a pocket for handwarmers, like these:

You can also search the web for battery heated gloves; they're all over.                    jj

I’ve tried something kinda like these by duct taping hand warmers to the back of my gloves before (redneck fix ?) and while it did help some it wasn’t quite enough

small disposable chemical heating pad on each wrist sandwiched between a knit shirt sleeve and a short length of elastic ace wrap (not directly on skin).

Cold hands can be bummer, sorry about that. Way up north, this is ski season, so I do know winter and snow and cold. It can be hard to fish in gloves. You may want to think about a system, where you have inner gloves that provide wind protection and dexterity, and then an overmitt that is warm and puffy (and you can put a heater inside those).

I don't have these, but if money is no object, I think Outdoor Research makes very nice gloves. Ice climbing gloves are thinner and are designed to provide the ability to use tools. The regular storm tracker gloves are medium to thin gloves with really nice leather and maybe fishable. So assuming the heated battery option is the same design, this could work?

Also, in place of the cheap chemical warmers, you should buy one or two USB rechargeable ones. I have this one and it does work and does definitely get warm and stays warm for several hours.

Try a good pair of glomits with liner gloves underneath.  Simms or smart wool glomits have small pockets for hot hand packs.  When the top of the mitten is folded back it makes accessing pockets tough, but as far as heat retention goes its hard to beat wool.

I live in Indiana as well and the weather can be unpredictable.  Also, sorry to hear about the Raynaud's.  I had to Google it.  I have never heard of it.  Hope it gets better.

So on gloves....  It can be tough to find a good pair.  Are you going to use these for fishing or just to keep your hands warm?  I have tried several pairs over the years and to keep my hands warm, I have a pair from Scott.  They are motorcycle gloves but they do the job. For fishing gloves I have tried pairs from Simms, Glacier, Sealskin and Seirus.  I have liked the Xtremes from Seirus the best but these probably would not be the best for what you have as they are form fitting (slows circulation) but work great for fishing.

The Outdoor Research battery pair is the only one I have seen that is super warm, almost too warm for me though.  Another brand to look at is Arcteryx. I have wanted the Fission SV's for quite some time but haven't been able to bring myself to pay $200 for them.   They are the nicest gloves I have found yet.

Here is a great website for some info....

I ordered a pair of Glacier Pro Angling gloves.

I haven't used them yet but hopefully within the month.

Those must be a lighter version of the pair I bought. There was a “glove” thread before winter and someone recommended these https://www.amazon.com/Glacier-Glove-802BK-M-Perfect-Curve/dp/B0029YI6QU/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=glacier+glove&qid=1613319428&sprefix=glacier&sr=8-4

they were $39 at the time I bought them.
For driving a boat they be great but to bulky for fishing

The pair I bought are lighter material.  I used them yesterday to shovel the driveway when it was 5 degrees out and they worked great.

Let us know how they do for fishing. Gloves are so hard to pick out online.
Photo of them while wearing?

Will do.  Last year I was out in the yak on March 14th, this year it doesn't look like it'll be that early..........

Thanks for all of the input, I’ll definitely research all of those.

Btw @FishTank, I’m mostly looking for fishing gloves (since that’s really the only time I’m in super cold temps for very long). I like the idea of using 2 pair @michaelb, especially for when it’s warm enough to only have the thick pair on part of the time. Those outdoorresearch gloves look pretty sweet, but dang I’d be afraid to use something that expensive lol
