I doubt the fish in the ponds have seen a big ol glide bait before. You’d be surprised with what happens when you throw a big bait in a small pond from the bank. Just might make your day. I went tonight and all they had were dinky little 5" ones. They had a few big swimbaits but not glides, atleast not in the BPS brand. They had a few Storm Arashis but they were $35 and I'm not that serious about fishing big glides to drop that on one right now. I know it's cheap compared to most, but also why I havent gotten in the glide bait game yet! I had my third kid 6 months ago and just started working again last week after 9 months, so that much money that I could snag and break off isn't in the cards. Quote

Sometimes you can find a good deal too. the 6 inch Spro in the Shad color is a great first swimbait. Quote
Rpratt Posted February 21, 2021 Posted February 21, 2021 Anything with a paddle tail. Have used alone, or as a jig or spinnerbait trailer. Nada zero zippo. Don't know what it is, but it sure looks purty swimming thru the water, just not appetizing for the fish. Quote
