Dipping into my first Kayak, went with the F10. I'm going to be using it with a trolling motor.

I used a friends last year for a day and was blown away with how stable they are. It wasn't a fast boat, but paddled pretty well.

I added the anchor trolly system, motor mount support, and a paddle to start with. Anyone who has this boat recommend any other of the stuff they offer? I wanted to start with this gear, and see what I might want to add after fishing it a while.

Congrats on the purchase!

I'd suggest fishing out of it and using it a bit before adding anything to it. I'm taking my time adding things to mine so I can really get a feel for where I want things before they're mounted to my boat.

Yeah, that's just about where I am too. I definitely want an anchor trolly though.

An added benefit,  You can tell the chicks you pilot an F10.

I'd rather pilot an F-12

Love my F10. If you duck hunt, their blind is decent but a little pricey. For fishing, a small sonar unit is a big benefit.

I'm a fisherman, no hunting for me. Got any photos of you fishing rig?

It's pretty ugly but it works. Just used what I had on hand. The fish finder I can remove easy and use it ice fishing, or leave it off and use the dash as a rod/lure holder.

The real question is, do you frequent lakes or rivers most? The 10 won't track great due to its short length and general bathtub shape. I would keep it simple with accessories for now. I have removed most of what the previous owner did to my Big Rig and have only put on a Yakattack cup holder and a Rotogrip paddle holder. My boxes go in a Blackpak, but with all my space under the seat and beside my seat, may unload it as it just takes up space for me. Where are you located at @waymont?

I use a Yakattak cell block with the transducer arm on my F12. I like that I can mount it on the track to either side leaving the deck in front of me open.

That's the most compact fish finder rig I've ever seen. Looks great.

I'm in the midwest, I fish smallish lakes in Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan. Once I get my F10 rolling, I might check out the Fox River in Illinois. I will be using a trolling motor in the stern, and paddling.

Buddy of mine in college was from Ottawa, IL. Spring break one year we spent at his place and fished the Fox - was pretty good from what I remember...course that was the late 70s, so things might have changed since then.

I wade the small creeks that feed it, and have caught plenty of 17"-19" smallies. Some nice 50 fish days too.
