Beachpig Posted February 2, 2021 Posted February 2, 2021 Started having periodic slipping of the anti reverse on my Tatula LT spinning reel. Mostly under some sort of pressure. Assumed that a bearing had been stripped but also read that over oiling can cause this failure. Thanks to others on the forum who helped with the right size screwdriver I was able to take the reel apart and dried off the bearing and sleeve as best I could. Sure enough that was the issue. I do have a tendency to over oil my reels during my annual cleaning. I’ll be more careful in the future. Tight line. 4 Quote

They don't come back to tell us what went on, and we kinda wonder sometimes. So thank you for telling us what the resolution was. It's appreciated. ? jj 1 Quote
