For the love of God I’m trying to disassemble my Tatula 2000 and the tiny screw of some sort on the spool shaft is so small I can’t even make out what shape it is.  It appears to tighten these stopper onto the shaft.  I just wasted $50 on various micro tool kits and none fit.  I can’t find the info anywhere.  I’m pretty sure at this point Daiwa doesn’t want customers performing their own maintenance.

It's a tiny Allen head set screw. You'll need to remove the spool shims to get to it. Make sure you use the correct size. You'll get one shot. If you choose the wrong size and make an error, you might round it out. I do not recall if it's metric or not. If you feel any slop in the fit between the hex key and the set screw do not proceed as you've chosen the wrong one.

I believe it is hex .09 or you can use Torx T2.

I do most everything under an Ott magnifier with lamp - makes it easy to see what's there and what I'm doing.

@bulldog1935Hopefully it will be many more years for me lol. Every time I do some service, something always drop on the floor. I have to call everyone to help me look for it. Talk about it I still couldn’t locate one of my Daiwa knob cap.
