RHuff Posted January 25, 2021 Posted January 25, 2021 I run a Echomap Chirp 73sv at my console with the GT40 transducer (long gray one). I also run a Striker 7cv with a CV20 (small black one)at my bow clamped onto my trolling motor. My question is this. I want to upgrade my trolling motor to either a Motorguide Tour Pro or an Ultrex and I also want to upgrade my graph on the bow to a Echomap UHD 93sv so I have mapping at my bow for gps anchoring and eventually adding LiveScope. Would it be possible to relocate my Striker to the console to run it as a dual with my Echomap Chirp. I want to be able to use the Striker for my dv and traditional sonar and use my echomap for Mapping and Side Imaging... Can someone explain what I would need to do to join those two together at my console? If for some reason that would not be possible then I wouldn't be opposed to installing an Echomap UHD 93sv at my console and moving my Echomap Chirp 73 sv to the bow but how could I connect the long gray transducer to my trolling motor? Sprocket Posted January 26, 2021 Posted January 26, 2021 Echomap and Striker cannot be linked together. The transducer originally came with a trolling motor mount as well as a transom mount. Retired grass grower Quote

I have it linked now I can mark a way point at my console and it shows up on my striker at the bow. I want to be able to link them both at my console and run them off my current echomap 73sv transducer so I can use my echomap for mapping and my striker for clearvu/traditional sonar Quote
Michigander Posted January 27, 2021 Posted January 27, 2021 We had a similar setup and they can't talk to each other beyond sharing a waypoint. They can't share a transducer per Garmin's technical hotline and hours of research on our end. So you would have to mount a second transducer off the back. Quote
