Coffee - Whats your brand and how do you drink it?

@Jigfishn10 you can make you own cold brew.  I do it in the summer time.  Make a pot of the coffee you like and pour in a little ice and the creamer you like... I pour creamer until I get to a certain color that I like my cold brew.  Put in the fridge and drink it all weekend.

Cold brew and iced coffee are not the same thing.

 

Iced coffee is brewed hot, like traditional coffee, then cooled and often served over ice.

 

Cold brew is steeped in cold water, and isn't heated.

I couldn't agree more. I bought one of the more expensive models, only to be disappointed. Threw it away after about a year. Bought a Bunn and haven't looked back. Fairly expensive lesson learned.

That reminds me of a winter hunting/camping trip I took. We had a perk-pot for the fire, overfilled it with water so the grounds were sitting in the water. By the time it started perking, it was done...we let it perk for another 40 minutes. Talk about thick.

I like Seattle’s Best, Stump Town, Community, Caraboo, Green Mountain, Pete’s, and a local roast by a guy who moved here from British Columbia called Red Leaf.  I drink all my coffee black.

 

Here is a true story:  A buddy went white water rafting with me.  Late night camp and he was DYING for some coffee.  He dumped two scoops in a pop can full of water and set it in the camp fire.  He grabbed a cup and used the bottom of his shirt tail as a filter and poured it from the can.  Bingo!  That’s hard up boys.
