Could they possibly cancel the entire event ?

Negative, wind is supposed to be calmer the next 4 days. Which might not mean much but they will look silly cancelling an event on a weekend that sunny and 60 4 days straight

ive jigged up a lot of white bass behind where that guy is standing in the thumbnail photo for that video. We also ate at the floating restaurant in that cove which has a hole in the floor with a bunch of bluegill you can feed and a huge largemouth that passed through repeatedly

Well durn! I was all set to watch the live stream while I sorted and put away my spring tackle stock up order.

Just part of the order.

I’m not sure exactly what conditions they expected in March. When I went there in late March the wind never stopped. I learned early in my fishing excursions that anything downstream of watts bar is a little too big for me on the main channel. There are places where you can’t see the other side of the river and nothing to stop the wind. I hope @roadwarriorgets a huge limit in the background on bass live

I am ON for Saturday!

Maybe we should add you to the Fantasy List for this weekend...you'll probably have a bigger bag than any of the 'Pros'. :)

I will post weights on Sunday and we'll see how they compare. We will be fishing

down river from McFarland Harbor and several miles from the dam. I am taking

some friends so being safe is my priority.

Those guys haul tail as I’m sure you know! When they come here I just set out cut bait for striper and stay over near a tree or rock so they won’t come flying at me haha

Well, some decent weights today considering the weather delays and water being so high.

Well, 3 in the top 50 and my percentile creeped up a couple points - so there is that.

Well, two of my guys made the cut and my percentile inched up a couple more points.

This is not going to be a good season for me, I can tell that now.

A. 20

B. 40

C. 14

D. 21

E. 81

Decent. This has been my best result so far and that shows how poor my picks have been this season. Hopefully Schlapper who is at 14, can slide into the top 10 tomorrow

An all-around "meh" event for me, with three fishing tomorrow: 16th, 32nd, 47th, 57th, & 78th

At least Kelly Jaye caught some fish today; he netted me zero points after day 1.

I took KJ as well. Day 1 his boat broke down and he didn't get to fish. Totally killed my tournament. He has a good history on this chain of water.

I took a serious nose dive on this one! Ouch!

BTW, I had Jaye too.

I should have gone with my initial picks. I got talked into keeping Hackney, if he had made the final day I think he would have finished strong. Zaldain and that swimbait is hot or not. This was a tourney of making adjustments with the changing conditions. With the water out of the dam getting dirty it sure blew out that bite on the last day. On to the Sabine, I have no idea how that fishes. It’s kind of like football for a lot of folks, they pick their home anglers as favorites. Doesn’t always pan out.
