20 days to the first event and we are at 29 participants so far. Lets try to get to 50 people for the first event. If you're on the fence, join in. You've got nothing to lose.

Would anyone might know when the practice days are for the St. Johns? They usually are on the tournaments rules page on the website. Just wondering if they haven't posted it yet in case Covid might change up how they do things.

Since we're getting so close, I've finally posted my picks. I have my tiebreaking weight set at 70lbs 6 oz. I think that may still be too high. I don't know if any of you have checked the forecast for Palatka but they're calling for thunderstorms on both Friday and Saturday so I wouldn't be surprised if a day gets called off. Lots can change though and hopefully I'm wrong.

The weather was looking great 2 days ago for St. Johns. Now it looks like they might not get a full 4 days. Possibility of a fog delay for day one, and a chance of thunderstorms all 4 days. Is anyone making adjustments on their total weight? I was originally going with the mid 80s total. Now I'm contemplating how much I should drop it down with this forecast.

I've got it at 66 (I said 70 in my previous post) but I'll probably lower it. It already was a toss-up but now with the weather being funky and the possibility of the a whole day or two being cancelled, it's really anyone's game. If I'm not mistaken, last year's St John's event was only 3 days and they fished in bad conditions, windy and cold most days. The winning  weight was 47 lbs...

FYI - your estimated weight does nothing for our group. It's only used as a tiebreaker if you were to qualify for prizes nationally and someone else had the same score as you.

Rumors amongst the anglers is there have been some giants in practice. If the weather it keeps together with warm weather until Sunday and a new moon. We could see a slug fest. If the weather holds......

I keep changing my mind between about 5 different guys in Bucket B.  Landed on Morgenthaler as of now, but may switch again before I crash tonight.

In these Florida events anybody can stick an 8+ at any time and rocket up the leaderboard. I try not to get too excited or depressed about day 1 outcomes, but now we get to see what the weather does.

After day 1, my guys are at 5th, 8th, 19th, 43rd, 63rd
