Surprised we didn't have more chatter in here over the weekend. Congrats to Caleb Kuphall for getting his first Elite win. I love seeing the northern boys get the W on these southern waters.

Well, even with none of my picks getting into Sunday, it wasn't a total washout. Still doing better than I originally thought I would when I jumped into this blind.

799 for me at Guntersville, which is my lowest of the season so far. Although I have been going with lower-owned choices more often than usual.

 

On DTL, however, I'm at 99.1%, ranked 116 after 3 events.

I was away all week and did not check the results . Must have been a bad tourney for most . I was in the 900's but still inched up a little .I missed the weight total by 2 ounces . My classic picks are in , subject to change

Dang, I just saw on Bassmaster that Buddy Gross actually severely sprained his ankle yesterday. I'm glad he's okay and wishing him a speedy recovery. He's still going to fish the Classic but I'd imagine it would be a little uncomfortable to be fishing and standing all day with that kind of injury. Gonna keep him on my team for now.

When I was making my picks, I noticed that there aren't as many anglers to pick from in this event.  Is that because some of the regular Elites didn't qualify for the Classic?
