Mono Users: Green, Camo, or Clear?

I like BG in those colors. 20lb clear I can see. The 6lb clear I just loaded for trout I can’t see at all

I use clear or green big game...depends on what they have available when I need it. No other reason than that. I don't really believe in bass being line shy especially in water with any color at all. Also considering I use mono only for moving baits I think it makes even less of a difference.

I use green or clear.  I honestly don't think it matters.  Pretty much whatever is on sale.  I just spooled my spinning rod with mono in clear simply because I had it and was bored today.  Ive had success on both colored lines in all different scenarios.

I believe the best choice will be clear, when it comes to visibility is a factor. That’s why I always use the clear mono when I am using it, however I never use mono in bass fishing.

Usually Big Game in green. I primarily fish two kinds of waters. Dirty where color doesn't much matter, or clear with a lot of weeds. I'm convinced that in clear weedy waters the green just looks like a strand of vegetation.

Not really answering the OP's question, but while we are on the topic:

For me, always green, mostly because I don't have to look close as to whether it's flouro or not. I bought one spool of clear because the green was out and it makes me crazy. In my case it matters a lot because the Sufix Advance mono has much less stretch - there's a test thread somewhere here on BR - and if I do a non-stretchy hookset on (12lb) flouro, it ends poorly.

Being older, and most times, Forgetful, I made a list on a small tablet, listing the rods, and reels paired with them, and what line is on each reel. Really helps somedays..lol

I use Sufix Siege which comes in a really cool smoke green color.

The bass in Florida don't seem to care about line color........I can use that bright yellow line and get just as many hits? 

 

Perhaps different fish and different areas are different though?

Spiderwire EZ mono comes in Fluorescent blue - it's just like XL (comes from the same parent company, Purefishing)
