I was asking if you guys thought fishing would be an issue or not. I imagined me asking my therapist about it and unless they were a fisherman they would just waive it off without giving it much thought or not realizing what motions I would be doing and know if it would be a problem or not. Take a rod with you to your next appointment. Tell your therapist this is a very important part of your life and explain the movements. Maybe they can incorporate those movements into your rehab. I'd be hard pressed to NOT start fishing in the spring after a long winter if there was any way I could do some. Quote

They might send him to the psych ward if he shows up to the doctor with a fishing pole Quote

I had to take a couple of years away from fishing some years back before I had Back surgery. It was miserable. I'm not advocating hurting himself. Just to do everything possible to keep going SAFELY. Even it's catching bluegill on a Zebco from the bank in a park pond. Quote

You gave excellent advice, I just imagined walking in with a 7’6” flipping stick and knocking stuff off the shelves and got a good laugh Quote
