bigspirit Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 Just received a Rerange 110 from TW. I took it out of the package and cannot get the weight transfer system to move. It stays in the forward position when I shake it and try to make it move. It says on the back of the packaging it slides “effortlessly” so seems odd. I can get the transfer system on my Vision 110s to move easily so just wondering if this is normal or what? Quote
mcipinkie Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 Read the reviews on TW. They will tell you what is going on. Unless you have a bad one, it's normal. 1 Quote
Solution Smells like fish Posted December 30, 2020 Solution Posted December 30, 2020 Best I recall the magnet system in that lure is so strong that you can’t get the magnet to move by hand, it takes the hard snap of a cast to take it from the front to the rear 1 1 Quote

I would have taken it out to cast first before posting but everything is frozen (as you probably know @OkobojiEagle). Quote

I did not read the reviews so I didn't know what had happened. I thought I whacked my windshield or something. Then thought I hit my trolling motor. Then thought my rod broke. I finally figured it out. 1 1 Quote
Happybeerbuzz Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 For me, the sound of the weight snapping into place became familiar and satisfying in an odd way. Quote
Super User MassYak85 Posted December 30, 2020 Super User Posted December 30, 2020 I had the same reaction when I got my first one. I was able to get it to move by hand but it took a lot of effort. It's effortless with a normal cast though. It is LOUD. Quote
