The Bassman Posted December 29, 2020 Posted December 29, 2020 Every time I handled a newer generation HMG I was really impressed at how well balanced it was. Virtually no tip weight. Then I read up on them and saw that they were actually a bit heavier than comparable rods. They feel like they're counter balanced in the butt. If I wasn't good to go with what I already have I would definitely consider them. Very clean classic look, too. Quote
Fishnski48 Posted December 30, 2020 Posted December 30, 2020 I had a Triumph for about 3 fishing trips and gave it to a neighborhood kid. I have a 7ft HMG and love it and wife just got me another Fenwick and took it out last week and landed some LM Very good rod for the price. Most folks from back east are very familiar with Fenwick rods. I have also over time found them to be durable. Quote
