JK Jake Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Has anyone ever fished with these? Does anyone know much about them? Im looking at trying some out. Quote
waymont Posted December 27, 2020 Posted December 27, 2020 I have a MC Corzza ultra light spinning rod. It's the best UL I've ever used. Very well made with nice components. The best thing about it is the extra fast action, it makes it very versatile. Quote
Super User bulldog1935 Posted December 27, 2020 Super User Posted December 27, 2020 I recommend Major Craft rockfish rods to anyone wanting to try salt UL. These aren't imported to US, and always a JDM buy. My buddy Lou has the 7'6" Crosstage Rockfish solid-tip XUL matched with Stradic FL1000, and can't put it down. They make a lot of rod at any price level, always nicely finished. Their offshore rods and lures are imported to US and sold by Tackle Direct and Tackle Warehouse, along with the Nanoace at Tackle Warehouse. Don't think you can go wrong with Major Craft at any price level, and will bow to @BaitFinesse on the specific rod he tried and doesn't recommend, and I haven't tried, either. Quote
Super User WRB Posted December 27, 2020 Super User Posted December 27, 2020 The MJ Nanoace use state of the hardware, light weight, well balanced and perform over their price point. I use the Don Iovino Splash-It rod NAC-T681/MS1 6’8” Medium fast for several finesse casting presentations. Tom 2 Quote
Super User JustJames Posted December 27, 2020 Super User Posted December 27, 2020 Majorcraft is pretty good and reasonable for its price point. I like them for both UL and for Bass. They are pretty light weight and balance well compare to others in the same price range or higher. 2 Quote

Super User fishwizzard Posted December 27, 2020 Super User Posted December 27, 2020 I have had three or four of them over the years and liked all of them. They are very good for the money and I regret selling/trading them away. 1 Quote
