Hey so, i found someone who needs to get rid of their lightly used zillion because of financial reasons and they are willing to let it go for 150, is this reel a good reel? plus what should i look for in a second hand reel to ensure i’m not getting screwed with something that is broken lol

If it is, as the seller says, lightly used, it  will look almost new. A nick here or there on the exterior is common on a used reel, but multiple nicks and scratches are a good indication the reel was abused. Another indicator of a reel that hasn't been taken care of is a dirty level wind gear and/or line guide.

That's a good deal on that reel, but the old saying; You get what you pay for, often applies to good deals.

As a reel goes,  I have two.  I bought one from a forum member.  That price is really good.  They are superb reels. The handle is large.  That’s easy to remedy.

I have this reel and it’s currently the favorite one in my arsenal.  It’s honestly probably a little overpowered for Michigan bass, but it does well throwing anything 3/8 oz to 2oz (I don’t throw anything bigger).  I use it mostly for pitching and swimming jigs.  One thing I will say is that it is not a bombing distance caster.  While not having an SV spool, it is definitely controlled casting.
