I've got a specific Ned Rig outfit (spinning)  and have been using 6lb Yozuri on it for a few years. No complaints.......

Well, earlier I said that I use Triline XL and that is what I have used for years ned fishing.  I started fishing an ultra clear large pond.  I could see bass and could not get them to bite no matter what I tried.  For the first time in my life of fishing more than 30 years, I tried braid with a floro leader.  I caught 7 bass in the ultra clear pond  after fishing it twice and not getting a bite using mono.

I have fished other ponds since I have set the hook 21 times and I have put my hands on 21 bass.  I never had that kind of success before using mono and I ned fish at least 50% of the time.  I think I am now a braid to floro guy.

I am using Sufix 832 Braid and 8lb Seaguar red label.

I mostly use the ned in rocky habitat for smallmouth and there are zebra mussels around.  Floro has a much better abrasive quality and can hold up to the zebes a lot better than mono does too.

20lb smack down hi vis with a 7lb sunline leader. I’ll bump up my leader size if I’m fishing around a lot of cover.

I use either Seaguar Smackdown or Sufix 832 Braid braided lines both in 10 lb with an 8 lb Seaguar Tatsu leader for my Ned Rig needs.

Can't say either "is the best" as I haven't tried them all.

However the Sufix worked pretty good on this occasion . . . .
