Everyone knows the Antares is a beast throwing 1/2 ounce and up, but Im looking at purchasing this reel and I want to know if this reel can throw weightless texas rigs and other light rigs, its VERY hard to find information about this online. Hopefully some owners here can help me out.

There are probably much better reels for that application, check out the new metanium mgl B reel, it can handle fairly light lures with ease thanks to the mgl spool.

I looked at getting this reel last year and decided against it.  I ended up going with the Antares 70A.  I do have the Curado DC and the DC system does just fine with a weightless senkos but the rod is going to be the key.   I believe the 70A will cast a bit further but the casting is effortless (similar to my old Core).  I have tried a 4in senko weightless with 10lb line on a 7' M Fast rod and the 70A was amazing.  Other reels I have tried this on have not been that great, except my Steez SV TWS.   It will cast a 4in Senko almost as well but not as far.
