Good afternoon all!  I was fortunate to receive an early Christmas present of a 7'6 Heavy Expride rod.  What would you use this rod for specifically?  It has a rating of 7/16-1-1/2 ounces.  I am very new to bass fishing so any help will be greatly appreciated.  Early thank you!

It should be a solid rod for frogs, heavier jigs, flipping and punching rigs.

It will work well for everything already mentioned. I wouldn't count out dragging a 1 oz Carolina Rig around with it either. I use a 7'5 H Zodias for doing just that and it works well so I know the Expride should excel at it.
