ChefJMoore Posted December 20, 2020 Posted December 20, 2020 Good afternoon all! I was fortunate to receive an early Christmas present of a 7'6 Heavy Expride rod. What would you use this rod for specifically? It has a rating of 7/16-1-1/2 ounces. I am very new to bass fishing so any help will be greatly appreciated. Early thank you! Quote

Super User Boomstick Posted December 20, 2020 Super User Posted December 20, 2020 It should be a solid rod for frogs, heavier jigs, flipping and punching rigs. Quote
Super User jbsoonerfan Posted December 21, 2020 Super User Posted December 21, 2020 It will work well for everything already mentioned. I wouldn't count out dragging a 1 oz Carolina Rig around with it either. I use a 7'5 H Zodias for doing just that and it works well so I know the Expride should excel at it. Quote
