can you use your flipping rod as a frog rod ,when using 50-60# briad

There are a lot of variables, but for the most part yes you can.

Just don't tell it it's a flipping rod or you will confuse it.

Yes you can. I dont prefer it as I like a little shorter rod for frogging but a lotta guys throw em on longer heavy rods.

I would think so.  The only thing I could see being an issue is if the rod tip is soft for a fast rod.  Most flippin rods are pretty stiff so it should be good to go.  

 

It would help more if we knew which rod it was specifically.

Who flips today? You can easily use the frog rod to pitch.
