@Catt my father and mother.

Mom: What kind of pie do you want

Dad: Boston cream pie

Which sounds right but it’s not a pie, it’s sponge cake that has a cream filling and chocolate iced topping and takes twice the time to make . ?

So I decided to stay with the Christmas theme and will make an eggnog custard pie.

Basically the same ingredients except some rum and bourbon.

I’m thinking of Bacardi Spiced Rum, but I think I need a consensus on the bourbon?

Any bourbon ideas here?

@jimmyjoe that pecan pie is on the radar!

Any bourbon would work, most people keep cheap ones in the cooking cabinet and expensive ones in the drinking cabinet

1/2 cup peanut butter

1- 8 oz cool whip (halved)

1- 8 oz cream cheese

1 cup confectionery sugar

1 graham cracker crust

Lay cream cheese out the night before, mix top 4 ingredients, saving half the cool whip for topping. Add a “splash” of milk if too thick. Edit: we always add milk. Add filling to pie shell and cover in cool whip and chill for 1-2 days before eating for best taste.

Lemon Meringue pie is my all time favorite.

Just give me the dish and leave me alone.

   I'll tell you one thing right now: if that there was sitting in my fridge, it definitely would not last 1-2 days.  It might not last 1-2 hours.   ?   jj
