Love this time of year. It’s like a pie type of season. Thanksgiving was apple pie. I love blueberry pie, especially Maine blueberries. Lemon, lime or both - custard pies are another favorite.
Not sure about Christmas yet. Soooo, what’s your favorite pie?

I'm not a big 'sweets' guy but there a few pies I'll snag a slice of if the opportunity arises.

When fresh & done right - most all of the 'fruit' offerings can get my fork moving.

However, top of the list for me is a

Bourbon Pumpkin Pie with a big fat dollop of homemade whipped cream.

It's always a special request  . . . .

Bourbon Pumpkin Pie

My wife bakes killer pies. Blueberry, apple and cherry are my three favorites.

I like mine with vanilla ice cream.

See now, you guys are making me hungry.

I've got a serious hankering for like 5 different kinds of pies.

The wife baked a peach pie, but we only have canned peaches

this time of year. It was "OK", but not killer.

There is no such thing as a bad pie, and my wife can make some dandy’s, but my absolute favourite is her homemade rhubarb ( fresh from our backyard) sour cream pie with a sweet crumble on top. When I see our rhubarb patch starting to pop out of the ground in the spring, I want to put huge grow lights overtop of it to speed it up so I can get more of that fantastic dessert! ?

sour cream raisin.

Man, that brings back memories! Our neighbor made the best sour cream raisin pies and cookies. I had to get her son to sneak me out some, because my mom would never bake them; she absolutely hated raisins. The last time I had those confections was 1967. Now that you've mentioned them, I think I'm overdue!   ?  jj

My family has a great peanut butter pie recipe, if anybody wants try it just let me know and I can post it. Personally I’ve never met a pie that I didn’t like ?

My wife makes some good pie. Sour cream apple, strawberry/rhubarb, caramel apple, peach/blueberry.

and now for something completely different. One she makes for me around St Paddy’s day: steak and Guinness pie. Outstanding!

Down south we call it “just piiiiiiiiieeeee”

Type of pie is unimportant, only volume of pie matters

In no particular order. Chocolate, Lemon, Apple, and Peach. If you go for cobbler it has to be peach or blackberry.

You could not tell by looking at me but I'm not a sweets guy ?

.....but if someone is going to put in the time and effort, who am I not to show appreciation.

Since blueberries are high in antioxidants, it's almost healthy ?
