Super User burleytog Posted June 12, 2009 Super User Posted June 12, 2009 I bought another boat. :-[ 01 PT 185, going to take me a week to fill up the compartments. Anyone want to buy an 15.5' 1989 Glasstream with a 65 Suzuki? Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted June 12, 2009 Super User Posted June 12, 2009 Great looking rig. Go get you some floor fans, two will do it, and set one in the back and one in the front facing each other. That will dry that puppy out in less than 24 hours. I do it all the time for mine when it gets wet. If I didn't do it, the compartments will give off a rather sour odor. Can't wait until you get up here next week. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted June 12, 2009 Super User Posted June 12, 2009 Is that your garage at home? Nice rig BTW. Quote

Super User cart7t Posted June 12, 2009 Super User Posted June 12, 2009 If that was your garage I'd tell you to move the boat out of the way and take more pictures. Dream garage indeed. Quote

It's a mess. Two bays, I think it's 28' deep and around 60' wide. The only thing we're missing is a lift. Great place to kill time on slow nights. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted June 12, 2009 Author Super User Posted June 12, 2009 Great looking rig. Hmmm, I wonder why you say that. ;D Quote
Super User Sam Posted June 12, 2009 Super User Posted June 12, 2009 I have one and love it. Fishing a tournament on the Rappahannock out of Hoskins Creek and I am the only one in the club who can go way back into the creeks. You can also upgrade the boat, which is a lot of fun, with better electronics, circuit breakers, adding a second trolling batter (there is room) and upgrading your trolling motor to a 24-volt system. Have fun! Quote
Super User senile1 Posted June 12, 2009 Super User Posted June 12, 2009 Congrats on the boat, Burley! Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted June 13, 2009 Super User Posted June 13, 2009 OK. It's official. I hate you. Your boat is nicer than mine. Never speak to me again unless you want to take me fishing. What year is it? Quote
Super User 5bass Posted June 13, 2009 Super User Posted June 13, 2009 Nice boat Burleyman! You'll be able to get on the dinks a little faster in that boat. When are you going to unload your 175# tackle bag into the compartments and spill some JJ's on the carpet to make it all official? Quote

That process has already started. Probably looked like I was moving this afternoon as I got all of my stuff out of the fishing room to sort and fill up the boat. Quote

Super User burleytog Posted June 19, 2009 Author Super User Posted June 19, 2009 This is going to take some getting used to. I guess riding in a boat all these years didn't help that much. :-[ Quote
