Steveo-1969 Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 @A-Jay from BR. For the giant smallies and because when I grow up I want to morally be like him. Mark Zona because he seems likes a very genuine person on TV. Denny Brauer because I miss “Brauer Bass Battles”. Denny’s dry sense of humor is the best! 1 Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted December 18, 2020 Super User Posted December 18, 2020 Since Id probably be fishing Florida, Id pick Roland or Scott Martin, Shaw Grigsby or Peter T. 3 Quote
PourMyOwn Posted December 18, 2020 Posted December 18, 2020 Larry Nixon or Al Lindner for me. Nixon was such a nice guy when I met him, and Al because I'd like to mock his accent all day. 1 Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted December 19, 2020 Super User Posted December 19, 2020 Pro: Brandon Palaniuk- Be great to fish any of those Northern Idaho lakes with him. "Celeb": Zona or Matt Allen BR: I'd even pay for the education to fish with A-Jay and Catt on their home waters or hunting giants with WRB 4 Quote
Super User J._Bricker Posted December 20, 2020 Super User Posted December 20, 2020 I’m going say Hank Parker, KVD a prodigy who’s career path a lot of us have witnessed and admired. And Jordan Lee, who is a exceptionally talented angler who’s career may eclipse that of KVD... 1 Quote

Brian Latimer would be my choice to spend a day with a Pro. 1 Quote
TcRoc Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 I would have to say B Lat. . I know it would be a fun day on the Water and that’s what it’s about to me...comes across as a guy who likes to bust your chops and have a good time which is more or less me . Other than him quite a few members here with a pro skill level or are Pro’s I’m sure I’d enjoy a day with .. if I can learn a trick or 2 even better. 1 Quote
Super User Darth-Baiter Posted December 22, 2020 Super User Posted December 22, 2020 I only know one. Brian Latimer. I like his channel. I don’t watch tournaments. So unexciting to me. Like watching golf. Quote
txchaser Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 Definitely a few members here would be on the list. And since it hasn't been mentioned yet, Hite. Helped make the lure that is just ridiculously good in my neck of the woods. I'd like to go much deeper on just that one lure as I think there's a bunch of details that could level me up. Next down the list would be any of the great jig fishermen. Finally for something way different, a local pro in japan, on their lakes. I think it'd be really different and I'd learn a bunch of stuff that would be new and interesting. Biwa is definitely on my bucket list. Quote

That would be a cool promo! Pair up BR members with pros for charity. Let's make it happen lol As for me, I would probably pick Brett Ehrler or Aaron Martens. While I fish jigs and T-Rigs more often than drop shots, their general approach to finding fish seems to be fairly similar to mine. And it would be cool to fish with some of our forum pros like @WRB or @A-Jay as well 1 1 Quote
Super User Mobasser Posted December 24, 2020 Super User Posted December 24, 2020 For me, I would choose to fish with any of our site moderators here. They've all been helpful. Also, I'll choose Larry Nixon or Tommy Martin, two of my heroes. 1 Quote
volzfan59 Posted December 24, 2020 Posted December 24, 2020 I would love to spend a day on the lake, fishing with Rick Clunn. I would really love to spend a day on a smallmouth river with Ott Defoe in his tricked out jet rig. Quote
Super User Choporoz Posted December 24, 2020 Super User Posted December 24, 2020 I've never really followed any professional fishing, but I have been watching the MLF Championship series of shows from Minnesota. I must say that I have been very impressed by all of them. Not just their fishing skills, but their attitudes and mindsets, too. I only recall two moments when a guy got off his game. I'd be thrilled to have the opportunity to fish with any of them. Quote
Super User Columbia Craw Posted December 25, 2020 Super User Posted December 25, 2020 Paul Mueller and Gary Dobyns. They would have to do because A-Jay is always busy. But that’s cool because I would want to go through his tackle boxes but that’s not necessary because he posts photos of everything........ which is nice. 1 Quote
Mjmj Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 I would love to spend a day fishing with Bobby Uhrig. His knowledge and enthusiasm would make for a great day on the water! 1 Quote

Steelhead Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 Jeff "Gussy" Gustafson. A fellow Canadian. He uses Loomis rods and fishes alot of Zman products which I do as well. We could BS about hockey while fishing. From the old guard, it would be Bill Dance. He was my favourite growing up. Would love to fish some of those deep hidden spots fishing among the Cypress trees. 1 Quote
BigAngus752 Posted December 26, 2020 Posted December 26, 2020 I'm going to take this just a step further and divide into: The natural teachers that I want to learn from: Gary Klein Greg Hackney Ish Monroe And the guys that would just be a blast to fish with all day: Scott Martin Andy Montgomery Wesley Strader 1 Quote

I think fishing with Jordan Lee would be awesome, he’s a fish magnet!! Quote
Capt No Fish Posted January 14, 2021 Posted January 14, 2021 Does Zona count as a pro. I would pick him. I want to have fun while I am fishing as well! Quote
walleyecrazy Posted January 15, 2021 Posted January 15, 2021 I’d have to say it would be a tossup for me between B Lat and Zona. I think both of them would be a blast to spend a day on the water with. 1 Quote
Luke Barnes Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 Evers and Tommy Biffle live in the vicinity but i would have to pick Ike! It would be educational but funny and exciting I bet! Quote

Trox Posted January 17, 2021 Posted January 17, 2021 I'm pretty sure I could fish from the bank with Gerald Swindle and it would be the best fishing trip ever... But if I wanted to really learn some stuff I'd probably go with Wheeler or Defoe Quote
