But the one man I would pay whatever he wants to fish with would be Big O again.

Who is that ?

I'd have to go with my 'local boy'...Seth Feider. We'd probably 'kill' Minnetonka.

I would choose someone I think I would get along with, at least as important as their standing in the angling world.

I'd have to roll the dice between Palaniuk, Wheeler, Roland Martin and Al Lindner.

Palaniuk seems like a good guy and he's had great success in my neck of the woods.

Wheeler seems like a good guy and he's at the top of the game right now.

Roland Martin has always been my tournament hero since the late 70s.  But I suspect he would do most of the talking.

If I was forced to choose only one, it would be Lindner.  I think he's a great guy and I consider him to be the greatest all around fisherman in the world.

Swindle, Hackney, Cox, and I don't know if he is considered a pro anymore but Zona would be awesome as well!!!

Alot of guys choosing both Feider and Swindle...both are good dudes and it would certainly be a fun time.

I would say KVD but that's to easy a choice. I also think clunn would put on a masterclass but again that's to safe a pick!

I'd honestly pick John Cox or Randall Tharp..both are great shallow water guys and there styles fit mine. Also maybe Bill Lowen for the same reasons...he is a great swim jig and shallow crank guy...so that really fits my style too.

Big O is the nick name of Steve Parks.
He is the developer and designer of all Rage products for Strike King.

I first met him at a BR road trip on Lake Wilson in 2014.
At that time the Rage Bug was in the prototype stage and we were the first to use them.
I was in a boat with him and was the first and have used them ever since.

Greg Hackney. Even if we don't catch anything it would probably still be a great day on the water.

I agree 110%.  You beat me to that choice. I certainly don’t know him but I feel he is I guy that every part of an experience would go well.

I think Mark Zona would have to be my next.

Andy Montgomery or Mark Davis. Fished a ProAm with good Ol Charlie Hartley back in the day. He kept ya in stitches all dang day.

Al Linder. He seems to be an all around great guy even if you didn't get to drink a beer with him afterwards. KVD and Rick Clunn,  I would have to flip a coin on that one. David Fritts cuz I would  like to learn crankbaits from the master.

There are so many that are on my top list, based on following them, and on interactions at the Bassmaster classic over the last 3 years.  I would take my 12 yo son, who has been to each Classic and interacted with the pros with me.  I'd have to take him!

My first choice would probably be Jeff Gustafson, since he's a northern Ontario guy like me. Such a versatile multi-species angler.  At the last Classic he hopped off his boat in line for weigh in, unprompted and came over and shook our hands and talked fishin.  Literally while waiting in line for one of the biggest weigh ins of his life.  Nice guy!

Aaron Martens was just like that too, sitting in his boat waiting to get out of the water Championship Sunday of the last Classic on Hartwell.  Walked up to him and he just launched into talking drop shotting with my son like we had planned to get together and shoot the breeze.

Other pros that have been super to talk to and I'd love to go fishing with my son include

MDJ and Jason Christie.

Big O is awesome with the kids, too.

Man, there are so many nice and professional people in bass fishing, it's hard to know where to start.

In this order..   Glenn May, Aaron Martens, Josh Bertrand (met Josh at Saguaro Lake.. very easy to talk with him and always willing to help)

Jerry McKinnis if he was still around. Seemed like just a normal nice guy. Really miss his show.

Zona,  Feider,  Hackney,  I don't know if Dave Mercer counts but he'd be fun to hang out with too.

I think partnering up with a pro for a team format tournament where proceeds go to some worthy charity would be cool.

For me, it would have to be Ish Monroe, Dean Rojas or Ott Defoe to suck up all that Froggin knowledge

Carl jocumsen.  Dude just intrigues me. Moving across the world in pursuit of his dream. It would just be a neat experience.  Besides him...Andy Montgomery...id love to learn how to skip docks half as good as him and he seems like a good guy to boot!
