Super User FryDog62 Posted December 9, 2020 Super User Posted December 9, 2020 Last name is Fryer, and I had so many nicknames throughout school/college. You can imagine some of the rhymes with “tuck.” Lol The one that stuck for some reason was Fry-Dog, years later a co-worker added “Captain” and so my FB moniker is Captin FryDog (FB doesn’t allow titles for names so I had to drop the “a” in Captin). And 62 was the year I was born - btw on the night Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points. My dad joked after my extended birthing process, it was the last time he scored for quite awhile ? 1 3 Quote

Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted December 9, 2020 Global Moderator Posted December 9, 2020 I live in Michigan and the state record largemouth is 11lbs 15oz, so in order to break that record you’d need 12lbs. So 12poundbass was born. 9 1 Quote
The one that got away Posted December 9, 2020 Posted December 9, 2020 My name is for a monster pike that I lost at Lake Champlain sometime back in the 2000s, probably 2006 or so. I'm sure everyone on this site has a "one that got away" story. 1 Quote

It started at the bar...It was my handle for bar trivia in the early 90's. That first pee after you've had a few Miller's. The pee that "breaks the seal" so to speak. That pee when you're standing at the urinal and you lean back and let out a sigh because it's almost relaxing. slow and easy pee 2 16 Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted December 10, 2020 Super User Posted December 10, 2020 I am usually casting by logs trying to catch fish. The logs are what I usually catch. Actually it was the only thing I could come up with that wasn't already taken. 2 Quote

cheezyridr Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 my name comes from when i bought my first bike, loooong ago. the guys i was working with saw me coming in one morning and said "man, that bike fits you perfect, you look like easy rider." then one of them said, no way! it should be CHEEZYrider!" then and there, the name stuck. i had no choice. inside of a month, no one in the whole state called me by my first name anymore. then one day, the internet was born. i tried to make my screen name cheezyridr, but someone on aol already had it. i didn't want to add a number to it, so i dropped the last E. 8 hours ago, Bass Ninja said: I'm Asian so my main gaming tag given by a friend was Rice Ninja. So when I got here, I just put down Bass Ninja. i wonder if you already knew this: (copied from google) You have probably heard of the term "Shinobi" used to refer to what you know as ninja, written as in kanji. Each kanji character can be read in many different ways, and so ninja (忍者) which basically means "shinobi person", can be read as both "shinobo-mono" or "ninja". just a piece of trivia that i thought of, when i saw your post 2 Quote

throttleplate Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 i am a mechanic and i was rebuiding the 4 barrel carburator for my glasstron carlson jet boat at the kitchen table and my girlfriend at the time bought a desktop computer. I never used a computer before and this was in 2000 and she told me i need a good all around username and i didnt even know what that meant so anyway she taught me the basics. I tried a bunch of names and they were all taken so i looked at the carb sittin on the kitchen table and thought no one gonna use the name of a carb part for a name so throttleplate it is. 5 Quote
