Michigander, that's the official term for a person from Michigan. Seemed accurate given my location. ?

Was “Michiganian” already taken?

?

I thought about using Masshole but decided against it because I'm right by the NY and VT border and spend more time fishing in Vermont than Massachusetts.

There was a member from years ago that went by Masshole Mike

I'm Asian so my main gaming tag given by a friend was Rice Ninja. So when I got here, I just put down Bass Ninja.

This is where mine comes from. His name was Angus. He patrolled my home all night, every night protecting my wife and children while I spent every night away from home protecting other people’s families. He was highly disciplined and highly intelligent and would have given his life for my family. And he was my best friend. The 752 is my first badge number. I’m retired now and Angus has made the trip to the other side where I’m sure he’s waiting at the gate for me. I honor him by using Big Angus for every forum username.

I took up the bass fishing hobby at 50 so I just picked the hook size as a moniker. Waaay past that now, but since I don’t use anything larger I won’t be changing it.

Bluegillslayer, because I started just fishing ultralight for anything that would bite and I mostly caught bluegill.

Michiganian is frowned up by us Michiganders (as you probably know) except for the 5 or so Michigan residents that say Michiganian.

MIBassyaker = Michigan Bass Kayaker, but fewer syllables.

Not very original but I thought "bassyaker" had a nice ring to it.

I mostly fish for bass in South Florida so that is why I named my username soflabasser. Have caught most species of black bass that have been identified and fished several states so I am very comfortable fishing different bodies of waters for bass.

but pitch me a bass down on the grass and I’ll roll and woller on it. ?

How does one "woller"? I looked it up online and didn't quite find an answer I was content with.... ?

Mine's a play off an old Seinfeld episode where Kramer gets his license plate mixed up with a proctologist.

It’s easy to remember and doesn’t require any numbers or special characters (not otherwise taken).

I am somehow comforted knowing there is not more than one!

It appears the algorithm settings on this forum sure think it profane language....

It's a long and complicated tale, but here goes: T'was a dark and dreary night, and all the little goblins were sitting around the campfire. . . .
