Has any one got any experience with this bait, I bought 4 yesterday, tested 2 out in the pool today, and they didn’t suspend, they floated rapidly, wondering if anyone else had this issue?

Yes, mine have 2 suspend dots on them and still rise faster than I'd like. Got our trip scheduled to see the man in the red suit at BPS with the kids tomorrow, hoping they might have some suspend strips instead of the dots so I can clean it up a little and get it weighted right, otherwise it's going to have bigger hooks on it too.

I bought a few but haven't fished them yet because shortly thereafter I bought several Vision 110s and was hooked.

 

Just curious, what temperature was the water in the pool? Warmer water will make anything, including jerkbaits, float faster. Of course I don't know what temperature water you will be fishing. Cold water (like we have here in MO right now) will make them rise slower (or possibly not float at all) but I don't know if it would matter enough to make yours just suspend. Maybe if the pool was a heated 90 degree pool or something like that.

Pool water was 58 degrees, 

 

I tinkered with them a little today, put #4 fusion hook on front with size3 heavy wire Split ring, on rear I put #6 owner st 41 treble with heavy wire split ring . Now it rises very very slow, and sits nose down slightly. Might get me some suspend dots to try also,

Mine was floating rapidly in high 40 degree water.

Objects are more buoyant in cold water, as it is more dense than warm water.

Oops, my bad. I was thinking about jerkbaits sinking more slowly in cold water. Back to Physics 101 for me.
