I prefer to have a decent assortment & inventory with me on the water. (might even be 3 years worth @detroit1 ) Either way, it looks like this A-Jay I enjoyed watching that video and it gave me same great ideas, do you not store your Jigheads with your terminal tackle or do you just not use them that often? Thanks @BlakeMolone ~ Besides the traditional tubes, swimbaits, finesse worms, stick baits, craws & assorted creature baits, I'll hang just about anything on a jighead. So I carry a few; which demands it's own box. A-Jay Quote
MAN Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 I am leaning toward trying out the Edge boxes. For me the biggest 3 peeves about the most standard 3600 and 3700's are the hooks jumping around, loss of clear visibility and the failing pressure latches. Thinking of gluing one of these foam sheets from hobby lobby to the inner lid to prevent the hooks from shifting. Of course this will cost me my visibility. Quote
MarkG52 Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 My kids got me a Lure Lock Locker with the 5 3600 size boxes that I now use for my terminal tackle. I would probably have preferred 3700 size but it has worked out great. I have each box setup for a particular technique and labeled as such. Prior to this I had a Plano Edge 3700 size dedicated to terminal tackle. I have 4 or 5 Edge 3700 boxes and several Lure Lock 3700's with no dividers. These two brands are my current favorites. Quote
detroit1 Posted December 11, 2020 Posted December 11, 2020 Thanks for sharing Ajay. First 2 weeks of April was my best fishing this year. (bladed jig) Sux you still had hard water. ☹️ Having extra spools in the boat a big plus, i wished i had some.. Quote
Janderson45 Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 I have 3 bassmafia boxes that I’m currently having this same issue with. I’ve transitioned to mostly Plano Edge boxes, but disappointed that the remaining Bassmafia boxes I have all have broken hinge issues… I’m going to try and replace because it’s like $100 in terminal boxes with nothing wrong with them besides the hinges/latches. Really disappointing that an expensive and premium tackle storage (that advertises running the boxes over with a truck) are now next to useless because of poor hinge design. Quote

This is my first and seems to be pretty nice, and it was only $12 (I believe) on Black Friday. https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/h2o-xpress-premium-terminal-tackle-utility-box I ended up going this route Quote

It's crazy that after all these years, plano can't come up with a scratch-resistant lid, or a true worm proof plastic. Quote

Super User Koz Posted January 19, 2023 Super User Posted January 19, 2023 I took out a second mortgage the other week and bought a Plano Edger terminal tackle box ? 1 Quote
FrnkNsteen Posted January 19, 2023 Posted January 19, 2023 I realize this is a resurrected thred, but thought I'd reply with what I am currently using. I've got a few of these Plano boxes that have been working pretty well for me. They have 4 latches so they stay closed pretty well and have pre marked hook and weight slots for 1/0 to 6/0 hooks and others for different weights. I have one for EWG hooks and another for standard offset worm hooks Quote
