Don't get too excited, pal. It's just a one-day ding, then back into the 30s

The older I get, the more I can't take the cold. This southern boy is freezing, come on spring!!!

We haven't dropped below low 20's here yet. Got out yesterday when it was 40-45* with skim ice on one end of the lake. No problem catching fish but I'm just not as enthusiastic about the cold as I used to be.

Lows in the mid to high 20's and highs in the high 40's/low 50s would be a perfect winter. It was 23* when I launched the boat Friday and it felt just perfect out.

Last week we had a couple nights with the lows in the 50's in South Florida. This week is warmer with the highs in the 80's and lows in the 60's. I am sure we will get many more coldfronts this Winter but it is ok as long as it does not drop under 40.
