Super User NorthernBasser Posted December 3, 2020 Super User Posted December 3, 2020 So sad to hear this. Through junior high and high school, all I ever asked for my birthday was In-Fisherman subscriptions (and Bassmaster magazine). I learned a lot from Al, Ron and company. Godspeed, Ron. Quote

The In-Fisherman Critical Concepts Largemouth series of books are the foundation of bass fishing knowledge in my opinion. When someone ask me where to start in learning about bass fishing. I point them to those three books. It's a shame they are no longer in print. I had one of them I found at Goodwill. 1 Quote
billmac Posted December 3, 2020 Posted December 3, 2020 I didn't know as much about Ron until recent years, since Al was usually in the forefront. But the Lindner name will live on in fishing history. I devoured In-Fisherman as a boy, being a fishing fanatic and kind of science-ey at the same time. They have lived a life in fishing that most of us can only dream of. 16 hours ago, NorthernBasser said: So sad to hear this. Super User Crestliner2008 Posted December 4, 2020 Super User Posted December 4, 2020 One of the greatest fishermen. So sorry to hear this. In my early years I lived and breathed the Lindners. Ron will be sorely missed. God Bless. 1 1 Quote
