I've got this Roundball.  Its 5/16 or 7/16 and has a 4/0 hook.

This one is my go to and has been for over 10 years in Bama Craw with a Rage Baby Craw Bama Craw.  5/16 is my go to size.  5/16 and 7/16 have 4/0 hook.

Don't want to hijack the thread but just curious- I spent most of the end of last year throwing the dredge brush jig.  I don't do a lot of grass, it's mostly brush and rocks for me.  Is the G2 basically a cross between a football and brush jig or am I reading the description wrong?

The G2 is a modified Football jig.  It does share some of the features of the Brush.  The main one would be the more recessed eye then a standard football.

If you want to throw it on a heavy power rod, why do you want a finesse jig? Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a finesse jig, which lets you throw it on lighter line and also maybe use a slightly lighter rod than you may otherwise use for a jig of the same weight, as long as the rod can still throw the weight that is.

I mean if you're looking for a jig with a slightly lighter hook that you can still use on a heavy rod, instead of using a flipping jig with the largest hook on the market, you could try a pitching jig that still has a heavy hook but not a finesse hook.
