Ya - Karl's has it for $88 - if you're a member of Karl's Club which is $49 a year. Otherwise it's plain-retail of 109.99

TW - with the 20% off for Black Friday - $88

i think i remember hearing on one of those tackle warehouses/ daiwa showcase videos where one tw employee hinted the old cts might be going on clearance sale during these holidays. id probably ****** one if they hover around the $80 mark, since  i still use my old ct's  and really enjoy them but if its around $100 or more id probably look for a deal on the tatula 100.

wait you mean the tatula ct or fuego? because you can get the fuego for 88 on TW, but they only have LH for 2 retrieves and RH for one left

They have Daiwa Tatula CT for $99.99, I purchased a couple reels from them a while back.

not bad, but i heard it’s the same as the fuego, but without the TWS and people say it’s not really effective? idk i usually use 12-15 pound test  and i heard it’s only good and effective for pitching with 20+ line? correct me if i’m wrong

Stick with your purchase a great reel at a great price.  You can feed the bait monkey as you get more involved ?

I have three Tatula SVs and one Tatula CT, and the CT brakes maybe 80 or 90% as good as the SVs. You should be able to find a CT at the right time on ebay for a bit less than the retail price of a Fuego CT.

Love my Daiwa tatula ct. It has been through the worst conditions and i dont really do much to maintain it. I did hear that T wing system costs $50 to replace to or something. It really turned me onto Daiwa though.

Yes, the CT is essentially the same reel as the Fuego but /w a TWS. It being effective or not is relative to the user. The concept is for more area of free flowing line /w less resistance when casting vs a traditional oval. Weather it gets the extra X% of distance is up to you to decide.

The TWS can be used /w any # test line. I have quite a few or the Steez/Morethan variants /w it and all have held up from 10# up to 22# line. It's not a point of failure on Daiwa reels.

keep an eye on Amazon/Ebay. You can find the Fuego CT at times for 70$.

The TWS itself is around 45$ to replace. I'm sure there's one off's here and there like anything but it's a part that almost never fails.
