All 3 being Lucky Craft with the 2 on the left beingĀ repaints perhapsĀ Could be - the basic shape is the same, lip shape is the same - though the 3rd down left one is larger - and it seems to have the same type of rattle-channel. Though the paint (where there is paint) appears WAY duller than normal for LC lures. 2nd down left one is a different shape, lip placement, etc. Quote

I just went out and weighed a couple and they weigh just at or slightly over 3/8 oz. with hooks, rings, etc. despite what the catalog weight states...so it's a matchĀ 1 Quote

Rapalaās website was of little help. I couldnāt find that particular variation of clown for the countdown or floaters. However, I did find it for the husky jerks. They have it listed as āclownā. Looks like your color:Ā Ā Ā Ā This is what was listed as āclownā with the original floaters: Ā Ā Hereās a link to an Irish website which has the color listed as āsilver clownā. Itās different from yours as the chartreuse also runs on the belly of that bait.Ā https://fishingtackleireland.ie/products/rapala-countdown-9cm Ā Ā Not sure if/how this can help but hopefully someone can use this info to get you an answer.Ā Ā Your bait has about the sameĀ specs as the size 7 countdown and floaters. Also hasĀ what looks like an identicalĀ paintjob to the clown pattern I found with the husky jerks. Even that āscaleā pattern right below the chartreuse.Ā I canāt think of what else that could possibly be besides maybe a special edition/European editionĀ with rattles? I havenāt been able to find information about any of that online though. Or just a very very good knockoff.Ā Ā Edit: I just realized the Husky Jerk has rattles. So could it be your measurements are a bit off? The HJ06 is 2.5ā and 1/8 oz but has rattles. Quote

Ā We're gonna skip the 'knockoff' (left, second down) and the really paint damaged one (left, third down)...it's missing about 1/2 the paint. Ā So LAST ONE - no markings at all on it 2-3/4" 3/16oz - has rattles Ā Just checked all my Husky Jerks. Both old and new all say 'Rapala' on the lip, though you have to hold it up into the light to see it on the smaller ones. That should be the defining factor in this case from the sounds of it. Beyond that, the smaller ones are exactly 2.75" if you only measure body and not the wire eyes/hangers. As for weight, with hooks, they are just over 3/16 oz. (~.194 oz) and they do rattle. Quote

Hmmm - Rapala's site says the HJ-06 is 2-1/2" Ā I don't this this is a Rapala - though the body shape and lip placement look right for a Husky Jerk Quote

Super User OkobojiEagle Posted November 20, 2020 Super User Posted November 20, 2020 Bottom lure is small Husky Jerk.Ā Ā Bottom of top pic is LC Flashminnow 95 custom painted. Ā Several years ago I had a custom lure painter paint 6 lures for me.Ā He did a good job with the paint, but didn't strip the lures first and they came back to me much heavier than before his work.Ā The jerkbaits had to be scraped or hung with smaller hooks to suspend.Ā Lesson learned. Ā Top lure is a custom painted Berkley Frenzy jerkbait from the 1st Berkley collection of Frenzy lures that were made in Spirit Lake, Iowa.Ā I spent many evenings building these baits... before Berkley sent production ofĀ their hard baits over seas.Ā There was also a deeper jerkbait.Ā Enjoy...
