Hey guys,

Shopping around for a new crankbait rod, mid/deep.  Noticed Powell rods are 50% off currently, anyone have any experience with them and how they compare?  Looking at the Endurance 755CB Glass Med/Hvy Mod-Fast.  Or should I look elsewhere??

Thanks!

   Let's take an arbitrary figure:

Last year they were $150. This year they are $300, but slashed to 50% off, which is $150

Powell usually has a pretty good sale around the end of the year but since they had a big sale earlier this year due to COVID, the end of year deal might not happen.  They are sold out of a lot of rods right now anyway so selection is kind of slim unless you find something in stock somewhere.  My local shop is a Powell dealer, all Endurance rods are 149.99 retail and the Max is 189.99 retail.  FWIW, the 755CB is amazing for what you're looking for...makes a really good vibrating jig rod as well!
