OnthePotomac Posted November 14, 2020 Posted November 14, 2020 Could not get on the Potomac for a variety of reasons, so I went to a a small lake (77acres) near by and did some bank fishing and am pleased to report that my new Scorpion hauled huge wads of dead grass with utmost efficiency. 2 7 Quote
Super User islandbass Posted November 14, 2020 Super User Posted November 14, 2020 I can say with pride that I too am quite proficient at pulling up weeds and such. Post a pic of it if you can. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted November 15, 2020 Super User Posted November 15, 2020 Hopefully it will haul in some heavy fish instead..... . I have been eyeballing a Scorpion since I picked up the Curado K. At that time, I found a new Scorpion for the same price but didn't pull the trigger. I like the K and it is a great reel but I kinda wished I had gotten the Scorpion. Quote
OnthePotomac Posted November 15, 2020 Author Posted November 15, 2020 In spite of the dead grass fiasco it was fun giving it a a work out. I kept a Senko on it the whole time. I thought for sure that a small body of water like that would be clear of dead grass by now and i was fishing 20ft deep. It really is one smooth little reel and I do not have big hands, but it fit quite comfortably in my hand and I spent over two hours using it before giving up. Quote
