I’m putting together a TW list for the up coming Black Friday sale and I’m looking for opinions on flipping hooks or what you guys use for flipping and punching. I have some flipping hooks but I’m not sure I’m fond of them. I exclusively have always used 3/0-5/0 EWG hooks for so plastics when not using jigs, so going from EWG to flipping hooks for flipping and punching  (which I just started doing this year) is a big change.

So what say you?

Trokar flippin hooks is all I use anymore.  Ive tried several and they have been my favorites.  3 and 4/0 do all my heavy lifting

Casting, flipping, pitching, & punching ?

The Ultra Point has faster penetration than any & the Grip-Pin is the boss!

Absolutely. I use a 5/0 Mustad Denny Brauer Grip Pin Flipping Hook for punching and have not had any problems.

Eagle Claw Lazer Sharp Flippin' hooks. Mustad's are good too. Hated the Trokar hooks. The cutting point slices through the plastic and end up getting hung up constantly and lost their point quickly. They also slice a big hole in the fish's mouth, so if they get flopping and shaking around much with a big punching weight, their chances of coming off are way higher than other hooks.
