Alright, it's that time again! I realize I'm a little bit behind here (this week is my birthday so I've been a little busy) so my apologies.

So, how does Sunday at 7pm eastern time work for everyone?

Perfect thing to relax while recovering from my surgery on Friday...I'm in.

And hope for a quick surgery recovery for @MN Fisher

It's just a hernia repair - not a big thing.

The info for tonight's meeting is below. I may or may not make it myself because of a minor emergency - nothing to worry about just might have to take a friend to the hospital who fell and probably broke their tailbone. But the meeting should still work without me either way.

The big snows keep missing us - we might get another inch the end of the week, but it's been a very dry winter here.

Great chat tonight everyone.

We were talking about budget bass boating, kayaks, float tubes, etc. as viable options to buying a more expensive boat.

I couldn't get a word in.  :)

But I wanted to ask if you guys have heard of these electric boats: https://freedomelectricmarine.com/

Definitely more expensive than the options discussed, but more affordable than buying a big bass boat.  Just something else to consider.

I haven't heard of these specifically, but I have a friend who fishes essentially out of a non-motorized version and added his own trolling motor. He also owns a jon boat unless he sold it but that just sits since he got it.

I've seen those advertised. Never encountered one in the wild.

Sorry I missed it.  Gallstones got in the way.  We're all okay now, though.

I must have missed that part of the call (I joined late), but would liked to have been in on that as that my current rig is in that category since I have a total of around $1,500 invested into it at this point.

Including electronics, I think I'm at about the same with my canoe.

Thanks @kingmotorboat

It’s okay, I’m used to it by now. Last week we had our call, this week it’s the Super Bowl. More often than not I find a reason to stay up late.

But I did take the week after next off l, so any day of that week is fine for me ?
